    Testing of the software and hardware system for remote control of cars (T-BOX) has been successfully completed

    OJSC “AGAT-Control Systems” and JCJSC “BELGY” successfully completed joint tests of the software and hardware complex (T-BOX) for remote control of automobiles.

    The basis of the T-BOX complex is the UVS–M emergency call device, which is scale-produced by AGAT Control Systems. Its main feature is integration with the automobile’s CAN bus, which provides direct software control of vehicle systems. The device retains its main emergency response function: in the event of a traffic accident, it automatically switches to the appropriate mode.

    The tests were carried out according to the approved program on vehicles manufactured by JCJSC “BELGY” The vehicles were controlled remotely via a mobile application for the Android operating system and a telematics platform fully developed by JSC AGAT Control Systems. The specialists tested several key aspects: the remote control function itself, ensuring stable data exchange between the UVS-M device and the telematics platform, between the UVS-M and the automobile electronics, as well as between the mobile application and the automobile.

    During the testing, the normal operation of all system functions in real-world operation was confirmed.

    The T-BOX functionality includes a range of services available to the user via a smartphone or tablet:
    ·         Remote climate control: the ability to set a comfortable temperature in the cabin by remotely turning on the air conditioner or heating;
    ·         Access control: remote locking and unlocking of doors, as well as control of windows, sunroof and trunk;
    ·         Status monitoring: obtaining up-to-date real-time data on fuel capacity, battery charge, doors, windows, and vehicle system operation;
    ·         Geolocation: quickly and accurately determine the vehicle's location on an interactive map.

    The developed solution enables integrating the functions of telematics and emergency call of operational services in a single device, which increases the safety and convenience of vehicle operation. The successful completion of the tests opens up opportunities for the serial equipping of BELGEE vehicles with a remote control system that meets modern “Connected Car” standards. The Parties noted the successful completion of the tests and confirmed their intention to continue cooperation on the development of this project.
